FAT is a fiery yet tender one-woman play about a woman's search for self-acceptance in a world that demands her self-hatred and obsession to fit into society's unrealistic beauty standards.

About:

When a woman decides to enter the world of online dating, her eating disorders and body image come to a head, as she puts herself and her body on the line to find somebody to love.

The play follows a young, fat woman in her early 20s as she goes on her first real date with a woman she met on a dating app. As the night unveils, the fat woman is bombarded by her low self-esteem, her eating disorders, as well as her past memories of inadequacy. A dryly funny and warm show, FAT aims to add to the ever-growing conversation of the body-positivity movement by exploring the hardships of being fat and having an eating disorder.
